The frame of the quadrocopter is made out of lightweight materials
such as aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastic. It has space for
the motors, battery, electronic parts, and the camera mount (aka.
gimbal). The Flight Control Unit (FCU) is the core part of any UAV. It is
able to process and implement the input commands from the pilot or
the autonomous navigation routine into certain navigational tasks.
The InertialMeasurement Unit (IMU) is designed to recognize the actual
alignment, acceleration, and barometrical altitude.
