Thank goodness our stay was one night as we made this last minute decision to stay in Chiang Mai to visit the elephant reserve. We were offered no assistance with our luggage and had to climb stairs to get to our room. The shower sprayed all over the bathroom and we were supplied with a tiny bath mat. The hotel was very minimal and outdated. The restaurant connected to the hotel was horrendous. Many guest wrote bad reviews and in all the replies from the management they have an excuse. We were ignored for 15 minutes before we were acknowledged by 1 if he 3 servers who were assisting about 7 tables. It was hard to get their attention as they are not focused on providing good service. The other tables were given a large basket of toast for breakfast as they waited and we never got ours. Two of the servers got into some kind of argument because a guest left without paying. That was probably their fault for not paying attention to their customers.
I would never return nor recommend this hotel and restaurant unless your only requirement is to find the cheapest place around. You get what you pay for.
