2.5. Sensitivity analysis
To investigate the influence of uncertainty on the risk a LBM is infected, a sensitivity analysis was performed. Sensitivity analyses were conducted separately for the input parameters proportion of villages infected (Pv) and probability a trader can detect an infected bird (Pt). The influence of each parameter on model output was evaluated by doubling, halving, and setting the value to one whilst keeping all other input values at their base value (Pt was increased to 1 as doubling the value would be greater than 1). The model was run for 1000 iterations for each change.
