Students' understanding of a difficult concept is greatly enhanced if the concept is presented concretely, and if they are left with a pleasurable reminder of the demonstration (Arn- heim 1991, 1993; Rakes 1996; Relan 1991; Roth 1993; Szabo et al. 1981).
