Among other growth parameters, weight gain percentage
was higher in live tubifex (348.17±112.8) followed
by fish eggs (314.05±66.56), chironomous larvae
(258.96±59.01), spirulina (225.96±41.49), planktons
(182.67±46.96), boiled egg-yolk (178.66±75.88), dry
tubifex (176.6±33.20) and daphnia (158.93±71.88).
ANOVA done for weight gain percent of different diet
indicated highly significant difference (pb0.01) in
chironomous larvae, plankton, spirulina, dry tubifex and
fish egg while it was significant (pb0.05) in live tubifex,
daphnia and boiled egg-yolk.
