In addition PCS has evidence to indicate that during times of economic down turn when employers (including the civil service) wishes to reduce posts, disabled workers are amongst the first set of workers who are made redundant and they face additional barriers and hardships as their access to work requirements are constantly under attack as government employers seek to reduce costs.
