Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to measure the students' perception of implementing a Smart Learning System (SLS) based on Moodle at Fujairah College, United Arab Emirates. The well-known learning Management System (LMS) Moodle was installed at Fujairah College and was used as a beta version. The focus of installing the system is to get a feedback from students on the type of smart features that could be added to the system. A questionnaire was delivered to 25 students at the Business Information Technology Department to measure their perception of using the installed system based in a "Network and Telecommunications" Course delivered at the first semester 2015/2016. Data obtained from questionnaire was analyzed using software called Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The results showed that there was a positive perception towards adopting the idea of smart learning system. As a result of this paper, a smart learning system will be proposed to be used in Fujairah College.
