In each lab section that offered tactile enhancements, sighted students were also invited to use the materials. Many of these students stated that use of the tactile images (and other materials) made the labs more interesting and fun. These statements, coupled with high scores, suggest that the tactile materials could possibly enhance lab courses for all students. The results of sighted and blind student’s surveys from the accessible section of BIO 100 can be seen in Table 2.
