Before the three months of the Lord Buddha's great passing away, He continued to preach the Dhamma for the good of many. When the Buddha and His disciples arrived at Pava, the son of the village goldsmith, whose name was Cunda, invited the party to a meal called Sukaramaddava. Then, the Buddha advised Cunda to offer 'the wild boar's delight' to only Him because the Buddha knew that the dish was poisonous. However, the other food that Cunda had prepared could be served to the" other monks. After the meals were served, the Buddha told Cunda,
