It is difficult to predict when a suit having certain
resistance will become uncomfortable to wear because of the
many variables involved, including the system voltage, the
particular configuration of electrodes at the worksite, the size,
location and posture of the worker, the method of bonding of
the suit to the energized conductor or grounded structure, the
method of suit-to-body bonding and the value of the suit-tobody
contact resistance, the behavior of the suit material in
the strong electric field, etc. As a result, extreme values may
