TCL Thailand’s 2013 revenue soars to over 1,500 million baht with 8.8% market share, making it among the top 5 in GFK marketing research. The electronics giant celebrates its 10th year anniversary with “TCL 2014 New 4K UHD TV Launch” where 14 new product models are revealed along with the much anticipated 85” Android Smart TV L85H9500 UHD TV. The company is confident its concerted effort to increase customer base and solidify brand position as a top quality electronics manufacturer will bring in the anticipated end-of-year revenue of over 2,000 million baht.
The revenue goal for TCL’s electronics products throughout 2014 is set at 2,000 million baht, a significant growth from that of 2013, or 20% increase in sales. New series of TV are expected to contribute to most of the figure, supported by sales of new lines of products such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines which sell particularly well during the months of summer. TCL’s market share is projected to rise 10% from 2013, sending the company on its way to becoming the country’s 3rd highest selling electronics brand in one year’s time, concluded TCL Thailand’s managing director.
