Do not use it for the time being. If your eyelids are affected as a part of the allergy, stop using the product altogether.
Remove the makeup properly using water and a neutral cleanser.
Refrain from using scrubs and toners.
Application of ice is considered safe if there is a swelling. However, say ‘no’ to hot water and facial steaming.
Do not use creams that have cortisone. Though such creams claim to give you relief, the respite is short-lived and these creams tend to weaken the tissues of your skin in the process.
Refrain from using makeup for a few days. When you start using cosmetics again, make sure you do not use harsh cosmetics.
