I,Thawatchai Yango, I have been in India for almost a month. I have been fine, No sick, No fever. The temperature in India is quite hot during the day, at night temperature is quite cold, especially when it rains. The first living here, I felt thinking of home and my parents very much, but when I was here for a while, I began getting used to here. I have contacted to my family, two-three times a week via Facebook and Line apps. I didn’t call on the phone because I haven’t bought a SIM. The first day I came to India on a plane with a consular officer, his name is P-Tum, when I arrived at Mumbai airport, I felt very excited because this is the first time to depart from home far away. After that P-Tum took me visiting in Mumbai city, it’s very interesting and beautiful then he managed proceeding to study at ELTIS. And then I met senior students and met the head of the Thailand Association of students in Pune, they helped me to proceed about the document. The operation of the document here is very delayed and busy, I’m going to receive R.P(Residential Permit) on 29 June. . And the next is about food, it’s different with Thai cuisine. The hostel has food for four meals a day, such as breakfast is bread, milk, tea. Lunch is Indian cuisine. Snack has milk and bread, and dinner is Indian cuisine also. Every Wednesday dinner is Chinese cuisine such as Chinese fried rice, fried chicken, fried noodles etc, these foods is the most delicious, but Sunday dinner doesn’t have the food. Sometimes I go out to have food outside the hostel, near the hostel has the restaurants and the shops. During the month I have been fasting, so I have just had dinner only. I think Indian food I can have everything and I have begun to get used to the Indian food. Finally, regarding the hostel, it’s comfortable with the facilities available. Now I live with the Indian people, he is from Delhi and he is friendly. When he has free time he will teach me English. Regarding the my study in India. Now I’m studying English private course with an Indian teacher. Study on Monday to Friday at 10.00 – 12.00 am. On the weekend I do homework and read a book . Sometimes in the evening I go out for a walk with friends next to the hostel, and shopping also. The ELTIS has a lot of international students and Thai students to study here. And every morning I walk to school, although the school is far from the hostel, but this is a little problem. Nowadays I have learned many things besides lessons, the living must help myself, to survive and be strong.
I finally would like to wish you with good health.
