The model that has been produced is not something
that couldn’t have been made without the Empirical
Modelling tools. However, it uses the Empirical
Modelling principles in conjunction with ideas
about different learning styles to create a learning
tool with an emphasis on understanding through
interaction. It provides insight into how one might
go about designing a lesson plan with this kind of
computer interaction in mind, and covers important
parts of a trigonometry syllabus as a practical example.
