Two fungal isolates, M. anisopliae FT83 [21] and P.
fumosoroseus FG340 isolated from soil of agricultural fields
using Tenebrio molitor and Galleria mellonella in Korea,
were selected as high pathogenicity isolates to control beet
armyworm. These fungi were cultivated at 25 ฑ 1oC on
potato dextrose agar (PDA) medium for 14 days. Conidia
were harvested by adding 5 mL of sterilized 0.05% Tween
80 and scraping with spreader.
