Dear Parents, we will be having a 'dress up week' for the following week ends as follows: we would like to request you to dress up your children in their best Malay traditional dress ala hari raya on Friday the 17th of October, Indian traditional dress ala Deepavali on the 24th of October and finally on the 31st of October, we won't be having class in the morning as we would like to replace it as a halloween party celebration at the school with part of the itinerary being the children participate on a "trick or treat" in the neighbourhood i.e we will be knocking at the parents of our children's respective residences followed by a potluck.
Kindly please look at the following.
1) getting ready a 'halloween costume for your child 2)preparing some candy as treats for around 10 to 15 children
3) if you can prepare one dish each for the potluck though it's not compulsory.
4) make the children take and afternoon nap (so that they won't be so tired during the activities between 19.00 and nine
5) all parents/ guardian are invited to participate at least during the party/potluck. Thanks and kindly call me for any further explanation you might require or any advise needed for costumes/traditional dresses etc.
