greeted and told off by the elder and middle-aged female kitchen staff that the kitchen was not yet openned.
We politely explained to her that we were on a rush and only needed a coffee she hesitantly let us had our seats.
What came later shocked and disappointed us to the core when a Caucasian / Western guest came
right in after us and was nicely greeted "good morning" by the same staff and ushered to his seat
without any question asked even it was still before 0700 !!
Does The Small Hotel practise different or double standards in treating their guests according to their
ethnicity or race or whatever ?
The bad experience didnt end there.
She then rudely requested for our breakfast coupons which I only managed to present a 2-pax coupon
to her despite us being 3-pax as I had misplaced the other coupon in my checked in baggage the night before
( please refer to attachment ). Sensing this she raised her voice and angrily demanded that I show her the
extra coupon as if I was going to gate-crash the breakfast for a free meal. Despite my repeated explanations
to her that I had the coupon misplaced somewhere in my room and we were on a rush and would look for
and pass it to her after breakfast, she insisted and refused me entry.
We all left without breakfast and checked out despite it being paid for. Ended up we had our breakfast at
the Black Canyon in airport Departure.
