There is one group of steering clutch plates (1) and discs on each side of the machine. They are hydraulically engaged by pressure sent from the steering and brake valve. The steering clutch consists of a series of clutch plates and discs stacked together. The clutch pack is splined to the input hub and the clutch hub allows the machine to move or turn in either direction.
