I ordered 3 packages of buttons on 1/13 (10 days ago). I get an email stating, ‘Your order has been received and is being sent to our warehouse for processing. Most retail orders are processed and shipped within 72 business hours. Our goal is to ship your order as quickly as possible, pending product availability and credit approval. You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your in-stock items ship. All orders are shipped via the US Postal Service. Any item that is out-of-stock will ship as it becomes available. Your credit card will be billed as each item ships. You will not be charged additional shipping for backorder shipments.’ 72 hours, my fat ass. The item is processed on 1/19 and as of 1/22, and nothing had been shipped. And no, there is no ‘credit approval’ or backorder problems. So I asked what the issue was. I’ve worked in my fair share of warehouses serving in the military so I know things go wrong. I ask if a forklift broke, etc. I can’t get a straight answer. Now, of course, Shelly can bitch that I didn’t pay for priority shipping but since the item hasn’t been shipped, the shipping isn’t a problem, now is it? That’s a good thing because having been a seller on eBay, uBid and Beezid, I know that buttons do not weigh enough to justify the cost of what Shelly’s charges and yeah, I’m including that little plastic bag they ship the items in. So, here we are … not 72 hours later but 10 days later and I request a refund for one of the buttons because a customer of mine went elsewhere. No biggie, I still have two packages to come. Day 11, still no shipment, no reason and I get a refund. I really do think that after the business I’ve had with Shelly’s in the past, I do not deserve this runaround but that’s just my opinion which apparently isn’t worth shit. That or Shelly’s staff is hoping I can’t count days or read their email (referring to sentence #2).
