General Security
General security provided by the Organizer should not be depended on to provide more than a presence to inhibit theft. Security guards will patrol the exhibition hall in general, but their duties will not include specific attention to individual stands.
Security for individual Stand
If your displays are valuable and you would like to hire security personnel to attend exclusively to your stand, please contact the Organizer. Please note that you may NOT use any personnel from any other company other than from the official security agency. Your staff will not be allowed to stay overnight in the exhibition hall.
It is impossible to provide complete protection against theft. We strongly advise that cameras, telephone handsets, souvenir, valuable documents, etc. are kept in secured cabinets or rooms. Please also ensure that your exhibits are properly insured.
The following simple precautions may be helpful :
1. Look up all valuables including souvenirs before you leave your stand at the end of each day-display these valuables only when your booth is manned.
2. On the last evening of the exhibition, once the show closes, remove all valuables for immediate packing and return to your office or factory.
a. DO NOT leave your stand unattended.
b. DO NOT leave exhibits, souvenir items, consumables etc. at your stand, not even in locked cupboards as all furniture will be retrieved by suppliers once the show is over.
c. DO NOT take chances with your valuables-once they are lost it will be almost impossible to recover them.
Security Notice
1. The Organizer will not be held accountable for items brought into the exhibition hall by the exhibitor, contractor, or their respective servants, agents, sub-contractors or invitees. Such items shall be stored at the owner’s sole risk within the exhibition stand.
2. The Organizer will not be held accountable for items lost, misplaced, or stolen during build-up/move-in, move-out/tear down, and show days.
3. The Organizer will not be held responsible for losses or damages of any kind to exhibits, goods, and stand materials.
4. All exhibitors are advised to ensure that their exhibits and valuables are kept secure at all times.
5. While the Organizer will provide a general security service from move-in to move-out, the security guards should not be depended on to provide more than a presence to inhibit theft. The Organizer hereby gives formal notice
to exhibitors that the Organizer, its agents and its official vendors neither offer nor accept responsibility for exhibitors’ properly of any kind.
6. Exhibitor are reminded that it is a strict condition of their contract to ensure that all items brought into the halls are fully insured by the exhibiting company.
7. Exhibitors or their agents are advised to possess supporting documents ownership of the exhibits during the move-out period as you may be asked to produce documentary evidence if necessary.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the exhibition halls.
Currency
The US dollar is the official currency for all exhibition billing. Foreign currencies may be changed at hotels and banks.
Exhibits Move-In
Cargoes which are consigned to the exhibition site should NOT arrive at the exhibition hall earlier than the first day of the build-up.
Exhibitor’s, their agents or contractors are responsible for the early installation of their heavy or large exhibits according to the move-in schedule provided by the Organizer. When stand structures are erected, it may not be possible to move-in/install heavy and large exhibits that arrive late.
Please note that official freight forwarder must be appointed for mechanical handling within the exhibition hall(s). Forklifts, cranes and pallet trucks from exhibitors and other forwarders will not be permitted into the exhibition hall(s).
Exhibits arriving on site without a pre-appointed official freight forwarder will be referred to an official freight forwarder by the Organizer. All costs incurred will be borne by the exhibitor.
