ickies is again proud to be part of Bottrop Kustom Kulture Car and bike show.
Here’s some details about what to expect from this epic event now on a new site starting Friday 31st May:
“After ten successful years of Bottrop Kustom Kulture we now present you the evolution of the Bottrop show: Kustom Kulture Forever. Unfortunately the last couple of years in Bottrop weren't very easy for us. After having to move to several meadows around the airport Schwarze Heide, we never knew whether we would be able to continue there the following year. In addition to that we have been very unlucky concerning the weather over the last two years which made our event area look more like a flooded field than an actual showground.
The lacking infrastructure which caused rising costs every year became a huge problem too. All this lead to the decision that the 10th anniversary show this year should be the last one in Bottrop. We decided to look for a new, beautiful location that wouldn't be completely flooded after two weeks of constant rain, that was eye-catching, easily accessible and of course not too far from Bottrop.
Kustom-Kulture
After a long search the Zeche Ewald in Herten which offers all this caught our attention. We will also add some other features to the show. But don't worry: everything we had in Bottrop will be at the Kustom Kulture Forever, too.
There's only one thing that we had to eliminate. There will no longer be a 1/8 mile race due to the fact that this race always defined the boundaries of our capacity. There will be a whole lot of new stuff though. Our doors will also be open for 1960s and '70s lowriders, pre 79' vans, pre 79' aircooled vehicles, choppers, bobbers and caferacers. Of course we will stick to our principle of invitation, because it turned out to be the most efficient solution. We will have a designated tattoo area where we will present four highclass tattoo shops.
The show will feature even more Kustom Kulture artists and car and bike builders. And we will have a lottery where one lucky visitor can win a custombike. We will also try to finally organise a swapmeet for pre '69 car and motorcycle parts. We are planning to have more music, awards for cars and motorcycles and much much more. You guys will be kept in the loop about the programme and the line-up on a regular basis from now on.
As you can see the "wind of change" is blowing through our Bottrop show, but we can assure you that we are still the same and that we will remain true to our principles. We will see you at the Zeche Ewald on May 31st/ June 1st 2013!
Since many years the Draggers C.C. is hosting the Car- & Bike Club for the show!
We expect about 250 cars and about 150 motorcycles at our show.
The Kustom Kulture Show Forever is not only due to the Hot Rods, Kustom Cars and motorcycles, is also known for the amount of known Kustom Kulture artists from around the world. Do not miss the only real party in Europe at all this comes together!
Admission to the show floor with the car and the motorcycle by invitation only! As already announced, we only accept cars and bikes on the exhibition floor, which have been receiving an invitation via e-mail! With this solution, we want to avoid pointless discussions at the entrance, so that the inlet is quick and easy from Equip.
In addition, we are working on our database for the cars and bikes that are allowed on the show floor. For this we need your help
