The WR diet treatment resulted in a decrease (P < 0.05) in the relative empty weights of the jejunum, ileum and smallintestine compared to GM and GR diets. The relative lengths of jejunum, ileum and small intestine were shorter (P < 0.05) fordiet WR than for diet GR, while the relative lengths of duodenum, jejunum, ileum, small intestine and caecum were shorter(P < 0.05) for diet WR than for diet GM (Table 5). The GR diet treatments had no effect on the relative weights and lengths ofdigestive tract compared to the GM diet treatment (P > 0.05).
