t truly amazes me all the African American and Hispanic people on here, discriminating against a transgender person when you and ancestors spent 100's of years going through the same thing in this country. You'd think you'd learn from the pain your own people went through instead of passing it on to another group. And to all you people out there claiming she isn't a hero, she's a hero in her own right for people going through the same things as her. And if you want to honor your heroes the people that fought for this country, maybe you should get an education, and learn that hate is not what is needed right now, because hate is what got your heroes killed in the first place, not a transgender person being who they are and accepting an athletic award for being an Olympic Gold Medalist. Being a hero doesn't mean you have to have fought in a war, a hero is anyone that you look up to or inspires you to be a better person, or gives the courage to help you through your own personal issues. Caitlyn Jenner is only spreading message of love and acceptance, and regardless of your race, gender, or sexual orientation we all want to be loved and accepted for who we are.
