In this paper, the hydrophilic modification of PMMA by He and Ar plasma jet was
studied. It is found that The WCA of PMMA decreases from 69° to 27° and 32° after
120 s He and Ar plasma treatment, respectively. The OES showed that the intensity of
reactive species such as OH, O and N2, N2
+
in He plasma was much higher than that of
Ar plasma. The AFM results indicated that plasma treatment increased the surface
