Cotton pulp (Buckeye) with degree of polymerization (DP), 4500 and LiCl (Junsei Chemical) were dried in an oven at 100 ◦C to evaporate absorbed water molecules. The cutton pulp, as a source of
cellulose, was mixed with LiCl/anhydrous DMAc (Aldrich) in proportion to cotton cellulose pulp/LiCl/DMAc (2/8/90). The cellulose was dissolved in the solvent system by heating at 155 ◦C with mechanical stirring followed by the solvent exchange technique [20].
