rainfall floods increased by 1.6%, 1.3% and 2.6%,
respectively. And the 24-h flood discharge showed a similar
trend from 1980 to 2000. This change is assumed to result
from rapid urbanization during this period. The flood peaks
in 2000 took place generally 1–2 h earlier than those in
1980. This might indicate that urbanization led to quicker
runoff confluence and higher flood discharge.
