It is very hard for us to accept this proposal. I will attach a file with the prices of our supplier of Chinese rawhide.
They sent it to us today. Please take a look at it. These are the prices we pay today for our rawhide items.
At the time we ordered the containers from your factory, the prices of you and the Chinese supplier were similar.
Now, almost all prices are at least 40% higher. We cannot afford to buy our products 40% more expensive from you than we can from our Chinese supplier.
Even though we will get about 20% of the container for free, we will still pay much more.
This is quite a large problem for us.
Please understand that for us it is no real option to solve the problem this way.
We would like to find a way to solve the problem anyway.
The best solution for us of course would be:
- To receive a credit note for the full amount of the bad bones.
Another solution would be:
- To receive the bad bones for free and fill up the container with other products for prices similar to our Chinese supplier. We simply cannot afford to buy bones for a price higher than that because in that case we have to increase our sales price and we will not be competitive anymore in our market.
Please understand that we need to find a solution where we will be truly compensated for the loss of the bad stock. We cannot afford to accept these high prices because in fact we are paying for the free goods ourselves.
Please think about it and see what you can do.
If you are willing to and able to send us a credit note for the bad batch we are happy to invite you to our warehouse to check the problem yourself.
Of course you are always welcome to visit us but please understand we need some kind of guarantee that our problem will be solved.
