Qlarke Quay has something magical in its feeling. At least I felt very comfortable and nice there; around this half circle shaped area full of restaurants partly outside. Both dinner places and music places, next to each other.
I enjoyed sitting outside, watching the sky and the stars at dark, the sea was there just nearby mirroring many things. All the skyscrapers and the city lights - it made Singapore look a real big city even if it is a very small one.
Near the quay there were people selling clothes, postcards and souvenirs even late at night.
The downtown, the city of Singapore, was such a perfect opposite to the peaceful Sentosa paradise island nearby.
