cat saves berks woman is life
according to the humane society of berks county rusty a 10-year-old cat that claire nelson adopted from the reading shelter two years ago would not leave her alone last Wednesday morning.
on Wednesday about 4 AM I was having chest pains and was walking around my apartment said Nelson. Rusty is normally a vary quiet relaxed cat but at that moment he would not settle down. When I laid on the bed he jumped onto my chest hitting me on my chest his paws and meowing very loudly and unnaturally. When I say in a chair he jumped up and put his paws on my chest. I tried to ignore him and go back to sleep but he only get louder. His behavior was completely different from his normal character and his voice was very strange.
Rusty is odd behavior combined with her chest pains pushed Nelson to take the situation seriously and she called her doctor in Exeter and made an appointment.
