When considering the difference between exposed and non-exposed
mussels (referred to as control in Fig. 5), two major features
were observed. In April and August, the digestive glands from exposed
mussels exhibited lower 13C levels (Dd13C = 0.6 ± 0.4% in
April and Dd13C = 0.6 ± 0.3% in August), whereas an enrichment
in 13C levels was observed during the month of November (Dd13C = +0.4 ± 0.2%).
