MSU Natural Medicinal Mushroom Museum and Learning Center is internationally recognised as one of, if not the, best natural medicinal mushroom museums in South East Asia. It has over twenty thousand specimens professionally exhibited and tagged in both Thai and English languages. Some have been carbon dated at over a thousand years old. The northeast of Thailand has over 2000 species of mushrooms which have been used in traditional medicines for centuries. A part of the MSU Faculty of Science, data collection and research into the traditional and scientific medicinal properties of mushrooms is actively pursued. Mushroom based food supplements and cosmetics are also researched, produced and marketed in collaboration with Amazing Grace Co. Ltd.
