The Langmuir isotherm of Cd sorptio

The Langmuir isotherm of Cd sorption by BCs is presented in
Fig. 1a over a wide Cd concentration range (1e1000 mg l1).
Analysis of the regression coefficients (Eq. (1) in supplementary
materials) showed that Cd sorption by BC350 and BC450 can be
better fitted with Langmuir equation relative to BC250 and BC550
(Table 2). Furthermore, BC450 exhibited the maximal sorption capacity
toward Cd, which was calculated to be 70.31 mg g1.
