The director of children's hit film Frozen is planning to adapt A Wrinkle in Time for Disney.
She will bring the Madeleine L'Engles timeless novel to life in the hope of making another stand out hit.
Lee, 44, who also co-wrote Wreck it Ralph, has been tasked with tackling the 1962 treasure and bringing it up to date with an element of Disney sparkle.
Oscar winning Lee tweeted: “Been in love with the book for over 30 years. Writing this script means the world to me.”
The fantasy young adult novel takes you on a journey with a brother and sister, time travelling and space exploring as a means to find their missing father.
A study in California in 2004 found that A Wrinkle in Time was a common book read aloud in schools.
Frozen became the highest grossing animated film Ever accumulating $1.219bn (£723m) in world wide box office revenue making it the fifth highest grossing film ever.
There has also been 295million views of Frozen's Let It Go song on YouTube, and costumes from the Disney store selling out across the country, there's no hiding how successful the Disney movie was.
