The Norwegian Forest Museum has a national responsibility for presenting the history of hunting, trapping, fishing, forestry and forest industry. With more than 100 000 visitors annually, the museum is one of the largest in all of Norway.

The Klevfos Industrial Museum at Løten and the Sørlistøa Fløtermuseum at Osen are owned be the same foundation running the Norwegian Forest Museum.
