doubt that it can be fixed to youre satisfaction because some callers have the ability to change the number at will. I read of one instance today where someone was called and when they checked to see the calling number, it was their own. They can mask calls and on your caller ID, Cox will give you the number the caller has faked, not the number you are paying to receive. I have an ongoing situation for about two months with one credit card company that calls about 3 time a day from numbers where they merely will change the area code or just add one or two numbers to the last four. What good is entering numbers on a "Do not call" list or a call rejection list when they can just fake a calling number and Cox will go along with them. If interested see my post of this date, "Cox phone service is not as advertised"! Many Cox customers are paying for call rejection and caller ID service that is not performing. Cox has bewen made aware of my situation and their only response is to tell me to go to the police! Good luck!
