I don’t foresee any chance of getting visa for Brazil at an early date as the application submitted by yr travel agent was rejected by the embassy. There might have been some goof-up made by yr travel agent while uploading the application form with relevant data/documents.
Now the other travel agents are advising me not to proceed further without knowing the reasons of rejection. A fresh application without knowing details of rejection may be harmful both for me and the new travel agent and the same may lead to black listing both of us by the embassy.
Accordingly as advised by a travel agent I will send a mail to the embassy enquiring about the reasons of rejection and requesting them to advise course of further action to get the visa at an early date. I will forward the mail to you for further transmission to APODI with a request to take up the matter with the embassy from their end.
During my professional career I had traveled to many countries but I have never faced such problems of refusal/rejection of visa.
This is a lesson for me and henceforth I will arrange my visa myself through a reputed local travel agent well conversant with the visa process for the relevant countries.
Now let me write to the embassy and wait for their reply.
