Recommendation
Keep your role of consultant in mind when preparing this section. Your decision becomes your recommendation to the manager of the system with the problem. This decision should be stated clearly. Do not embellish it with reasons why it should be done or the details of how to do it. That information comes later.
There should be a decision for each problem that has been identified. This is another reason for keeping the number of problems to a minimum. If three problems were identified in the previous section, and they were numbered, then the three corresponding decisions should be numbered accordingly. Do not simply rely on the numbering to relate the decision to the problem, and make certain the reader knows which problem is being solved by which decision.
