In Experiments monitoring coliform bacteria from water utilities built by
inoculation in liquid. The objective was to study coliform bacteria, to study the water
quality monitoring method of cultivation with coliform bacteria and to get rid of the
coliform in culture. How to simple investigation coliform bacteria, that collecting
water samples, we suspect that there were 5 groups of coliform bacteria by
collecting water samples, which were suspected that there were five groups of
coliform bacteria included the first group is batch control, the second group is tap
water, the third group is groundwater, The fourth group is ice melt, The fifth group is
divided into five sub-groups: drinking water from a sports center water dispenser
No.1, a sports center water dispenser No.2, a technician Metal building water
dispenser, Maharat building water dispenser and technician wood building dispenser.
Picked them in a culture medium using a base by lactose broth mixed with distilled
water, NaOH 10% and phenol red, which is an indicator yellow to red in 6.4-8.4 pH,
so the solution is red. If they have Coliform bacteria, it would use lactose and other
foods in culture medium and get CO2
, which mix with solution form Carbonic acid,
which can change solution color to yellow. This mean the samples that have
coliform bacteria. In addition, it enable to be analyzed further using advanced
methods further. The results of the study showed that water from contamination
with coliform bacteria, five sources include the third experiments ice melted and all
of fifth sub-experiment above-mentioned but other have not coliform bacteria.
Finally, that the trial kinds can be applied to the detection of coliform bacteria in the
drinking water of other schools.
