Labor policy in the Philippines ids specified mainly by the country’s labor code of the Philippines and through other labor laws. They cover 38 million Filipinos that belong to the labor force and to some range , also the oversea workers. They plan to address Filipino worker’s legal rights and their limitation with regard to the hiring process, working conditions, benefits, policy making on labor within the company, activities and relation with employers. The labor code and other legislated labor laws are implemented primarily from the government agencies, namely, department of labor and employment and Philippines overseas employment agency. Non-government such as the trade unions employers, also play a role in the country’s labor policy by actively ensuring their proper implementation and on the political level, by lobbying for development or modification of work-related laws
