The regression analysis based on the first and second-order
reaction kinetics for the color of dye was conducted and the results
are shown in Fig 7 and Table 1. As seen in Table 1, as dye
concentration increases from 50 to 150 mg L1, the second order
model rate constants increase from 0.7904 to 0.9201 min1.
However, the first order model rate constants decrease from
0.1733 to 0.0757 min1. The second order kinetics shows higher
correlation than the first -order kinetics in the case of the
Fenton reaction.
