The Selection for small canopy size and high yield in backcross hybrids between Jatropha curcus and J. integerima the experiment were carried out at research field of the physic nut project in breeding Kasetsart University at Kamphaensaen campus. The experiment has a Jathopha backcross hybrid 45 pair combinations. Planting seedlings cultured by using seeds with spacing 1 × 1.5 meters experiment, which were conducted in Completely Randomized Design (CRD) by unequal replication. The result of the study on the effect in the parents is the Jathopha backcross hybrid of characteristics canopy size and high yield. Mother line was found to effcetive the height of a the Jathopha backcross hybrid in the age range 150 240 and 330 days after pruning, and also effect the seed weight and 100 seed weight of the Jathopha backcross hybrid, too. The study variance in the character canopy size and yield in Jathopha backcross hybrid. The result for height a significant on every day after pruning. The crosses to the highest M10 × C18 pair and the lowest is K × C18. The pair produced a high yield of Cn × C14 and the lowest is Cn × C12. The study selection hybrid crosses for small canopy size and high, the relationship between width and height of canopy cross. The correlation of Jatropha hybrids backcross with yield and height in the same direction. It is a barrier to recruitment
