Evolutionary algorithms (EAs) are principally a stochastic
search and optimization method based on the principles of
natural biological evolution. The evolutionary algorithm is
wildly used in the fields of searching, optimization, machine
learning, and pattern recognition and so on. Nowadays,
researchers in evolutionary computation pay more attention on
the natural inspired computation i.e. we can use some natural
principles from natural sciences and the natural world to
propose new computational models and methods. There are
some natural inspired Evolutionary Algorithms such as DEA
[1], NDEA [2], and QEA [3] [4].
This paper proposes a new a new electrostatic field
termination criterion for Evolutionary Algorithm (EFEA)
which ideas come from the classic electrostatic field. The
EFEA gives the EA frame a new electrostatic model. This can
be another way of natural inspired Evolutionary Algorithms
from the Physics.
