A readily tunable anodic oxidation process to control surface morphology and nanotube geometry
•
Appreciable uniformity of TiO2 nanotubes by electropolishing and two step anodic oxidation
•
The lower the anodizing temperature the smaller the pore diameter.
•
A limited ionic transport assumption for the mechanism of blocking of pore openings is exploited.
•
Increasing first step anodizing time improves the ordering of TiO2 nanotubes.
