The reliability of the survey was
determined using the Cronbach’s alpha measure of internal consistency. The outsourcing
implementation section has an alpha coefficient of .93, with the outsourcing perceptions
section having an alpha coefficient of .93 as well. These obtained coefficients provide
evidence that both sections of the survey had good internal consistency. Additional
validity, reliability, and effectiveness of the research methodology were determined by
Lyons (2010) by using a pilot test. The survey was revised as necessary, based on the
pilot test results. The reliability of the data was demonstrated through stable and
consistent replication of findings on repeated measurement (Vanarase, 2007).
