1. The use of 3% FSBM to replace 1.5% SBM and 1.5% FM (or CGM) improved the FCR of broilers at the starter phase.
2. The equivalent replacement of other protein sources with 2 or 3% FSBM in broiler diets was effective and economical and spared the use of FM or CGM.
3. Further studies are needed to investigate the response of broilers fed FSBM at different doses by using different feeding strategies to meet commercial applications.
