in the initial and final ecotoxicological assessment, the aquatic crustaceous were more sensitive than the bacteria, probably as a consequence of the greater salinity tolerance of the later ( it is marine organism and the two invertebrates are organisms of continental waters)
The same tendency regarding the sensitivity of these organisms, and the opposite have been previously reported for TEs contaminated soils.
However, the present results suggest that the V.fischeri test could be recommended for saline polluted soils to discern the effect of the amendments on soil pH and TEs availability, because it allows to eliminate the salinity effect
