starbucks or little betty's
do english people really drink a lot of tea? or is the coffee bar taking over? i went to york in the north of england to find out which is the most popular. little bettys-a traditional english tew room - is small and cosy. it serves hot lunches and snacks, so you can come when you want, but i was interested in the afternoon tea: tea, sandwiches and sconed with strawberry jam and cream. it was busy - a few families, some old ladies and young people - so i spoke to some of them to find out why they come here. it's the perfect place to have a brea. And they serve a good cup of tea, said mrs riley. We come here for rge delicious cakes, twofriends told me.
