Congratulations to the entire Kimball Electronics team that has been involved in the 9Bxx program quotation process with Nexteer!

On December 3, Mark Yaquinto, Kimball Electronics Business Manager for Nexteer, received verbal notification from Nexteer that Kimball Electronics will be awarded the 9Bxx Electronic Power Steering (EPS) program. The EPS program includes manufacture of both Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and Probe Housing Assembly (PHA).

This is a great opportunity with many firsts: first global program Kimball Electronics has won for Nexteer (the exact same products will be produced in Europe and China by Kimball Electronics Poland, Kimball Electronics Romania, and Kimball Electronics China); first Nexteer Program for Kimball Electronics Romania, who will produce the Probe Housing Assemblies (PHA) for the European region shipping to Nexteer Tychy, Poland.

KE China will produce Probe Housing Assemblies (PHA) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) for China region shipping to Nexteer Suzhou, China.

KE Poland will produce the Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) for the European region shipping to Nexteer Tychy, Poland.

Annual revenue at full volume will be roughly $34 million: KEPS $17 million; KECN $12 million; KERO $5 million.

Lifetime revenue for the program will be roughly $200 million.
