Our global brand team is developing a 2-minute video clip - 3M Brand Machine – that will go social on YouTube on August 13 to tell the 3M Brand Story in a fun way to get people talking about it. It is a Rube Goldberg machine that will pique curiosity and wonder by showcasing how science comes to life. This will also become a “crescendo” moment in the launch of the new 3M brand. Post-machine launch, the video will promote continued engagement through digital and social channels. This will be a 10 sequences machine ending with the revelation of 3M Brand. 7 out of the 10 sequences will be linked to our 3M Brand’s mirco videos that is intended to communicate our new brand platform.
Detail communication is coming in a couple of days but I would want to give you a heads up. The “art installation” like 3M Brand Machine is in its final building stage with video shooting on Aug 5th; I have attached the Powerpoint deck for your preview (only change is the Cubitron launcher which has been revised as more of a Cubitron roller..).
