Flower induction was carried out ten months after planting by pouring 50 mL of the solution containing 200 mL ethephon (2-chloroethylphosphonoc acid) into the center of the growing apex of each plant. Fruit yield was recorded and the fruit was used to assess the fruit quality. The parameters determined were fruit weight and length, crown weight and length, fruit diameter, fruit to crown ratio, brix% and degree of acidity.
